I’m a new beginner. And found your site by accident. Honey Bear is so adorable and I am trying to make my 4 grand babies a memory bear but I had to stop to try to make Honey Bear. She’s so adorable but so small. It’s hard for my fat fingers to manage for I’m getting there. I can’t wait to see what else you have. I struggle understanding patterns but I’m trying. I’m having fun making the bears. I can’t cut a straight line but slowly getting there. I watched my Mom, Aunt and Grandma sew but I never thought sewing would be so much fun! Thank you

Hi Mary! It’s so lovely to hear you have discovered how much fun sewing is! Take it slow and enjoy the process – every toy is cute even if you think they aren’t perfect! 🥰

I love your patterns and return to them often. I’m always delighted that each one I make looks different to the last, having a character all of their own. Thank you for sharing your skills.

I love all the wonderful and creative Funky Friends patterns and can hardly wait to get started…..so far it appears the hardest part is going to be deciding on which pattern to begin with. My granddaughter has been no help here as she wants me to do all of them…🤔☺

That’s funny… you should teach her to sew so she can make her own Funky Friends!!! 😃

I am new to this group. I have made a few dolls and I love to sew. I have been sewing since I was about 13. It’s usually very relaxing for me, especially when my kids were little. I could get them all to bed and then stay up and sew, I would enjoy myself until when I had to get up the next morning!!! Little kids don’t sleep in unfortunately!

I tried to sign up for your facebook club account using the FunkyFriendsClubAccount as the last name as was suggested. Facebook rejected my attempt as said it violated their sign up policy’s to use the name we use in everyday life. It first stated there were too many capital letters in FunkyFriendsClubAccount. So, it actually blocked me twice from joining your group.

Oh Grrrrr…. that used to work! FB changes things all the time. You could try Clubaccount as the ‘surname’? Could you let me know if that works??? I REALLY hope we do still have a workaround because I COMPLETELY understand that some people want to be anonymous on FB…. BUT it may no longer be possible…. I guess they are trying to make thing safer by stopping criminals from being anonymous on their platform too?

I am so glad that you are around I found other sites for making soft toys to sew but the only thing that you have and they don’t is you have instructions and easy follow along reading. this in my eyes is number one you are a star and thank you for being around.

When printing your patterns , do I need to do anything special on settings for it to print out the size I needed?
    Thank You

Hi Sandra, no special settings needed – just print at 100% (Actual Size). 😁👍

I Love your patterns. I just bought the Giddy Goats and when printing the pattern page 9 cuts off the bottom for the throat (GH) even when I print at actual size.

This usually happens when you print from the browser rather than from a saved version of the file. To fix the issue, save the file to your device, then open the file and hit print. This should fix it. If that doesn’t work, there’s also a “print as image” option in the advanced settings tab on most printers. You can use this form to submit a help request if those options do not work https://www.funkyfriendsfactory.com/contact-us
Be sure to include the type of printer you have and the device you are printing from (iPhone, ipad, pc laptop, etc)
