bye for now,
I am new to sewing soft toys and have just found your website. It has proved to be great inspiration in this mad year we’re having. Thank you so much.
Aw thanks for your lovely comment, Betty! 😀
I love your patterns and return to them often. I’m always delighted that each one I make looks different to the last, having a character all of their own. Thank you for sharing your skills.
It’s a pleasure, Penny So happy you’re enjoying sewing your Funky Friends! 😃
Loved making two bears using the Calico pattern. tomorrow Ill do the Honey Bear
Thank you for the patterns.
I am a newbie here. Loved making Honey Bear, I did forget to use the snout trick though.
Loved the tutorials very helpful.
Can’t wait to make some more friends.
Thank you so very much!
I love all the wonderful and creative Funky Friends patterns and can hardly wait to get started…..so far it appears the hardest part is going to be deciding on which pattern to begin with. My granddaughter has been no help here as she wants me to do all of them…🤔☺
That’s funny… you should teach her to sew so she can make her own Funky Friends!!! 😃
I have recently joined and as yet have no questions as the patterns are so well set out and the instructions are so easy to follow even me with my disabilities can make them.
Hey Brenda! Thanks for the compliment! If you’re new to sewing softies (or just want to improve those skills) I have a free toy-making course and lots more resources too – you can check them out here – https://www.funkyfriendsfactory.com/blog/new-to-sewing-toys/
I absolotely love your patterns I also just started using your patterns and find the instruction very easy to follow
Looking forward to make many more
Unfortunately i dont have facebook so i cant join you there
All my love
I am new to this group. I have made a few dolls and I love to sew. I have been sewing since I was about 13. It’s usually very relaxing for me, especially when my kids were little. I could get them all to bed and then stay up and sew, I would enjoy myself until when I had to get up the next morning!!! Little kids don’t sleep in unfortunately!
I’m thrilled to have found this website and the Facebook group for FFF. I’ve learned so much and the patterns are my favorites!!
Thank Kelly! Welcome to this funky corner of the ‘interwebs’!!! 😀
Sewing soft toys is something new to me. I’m looking forward to this sewing adventure.
I love FFF patterns and have been making them for a number of years. Wish I could have them all and have the time to make them ;).
i have made several of your soft animals. love them all, patterns are easy to follow and ever so cute. thanks.
I tried to sign up for your facebook club account using the FunkyFriendsClubAccount as the last name as was suggested. Facebook rejected my attempt as said it violated their sign up policy’s to use the name we use in everyday life. It first stated there were too many capital letters in FunkyFriendsClubAccount. So, it actually blocked me twice from joining your group.
Oh Grrrrr…. that used to work! FB changes things all the time. You could try Clubaccount as the ‘surname’? Could you let me know if that works??? I REALLY hope we do still have a workaround because I COMPLETELY understand that some people want to be anonymous on FB…. BUT it may no longer be possible…. I guess they are trying to make thing safer by stopping criminals from being anonymous on their platform too?
I am so glad that you are around I found other sites for making soft toys to sew but the only thing that you have and they don’t is you have instructions and easy follow along reading. this in my eyes is number one you are a star and thank you for being around.
Awwww, thanks for the compliments Sharen! I work hard to try and make things as easy as possible. 🙂
I am all new to this but there so adorable who can’t but want to make them. I’m very excited to get the tricks and tips from the group
Welcome to the FFF, Lori! 😀
When printing your patterns , do I need to do anything special on settings for it to print out the size I needed?
Hi Sandra, no special settings needed – just print at 100% (Actual Size). 😁👍
