Nov 22, 2012 | A day in my life, Blog, Competitions & Giveaways, FFF News

Susie Wren is the owner of ijustlovethatfabric – a gorgeous boutique fabric store located on the Queensland Gold Coast that now also stocks Funky Friends Factory Soft Toy Sewing Patterns!

ijustlovethatfabric stocks the largest collection of online oilcloth in Australia – from designers such as Amy Butler, Anna Maria Horner, Tilda, Liberty of London, Heather Bailey, Marimekko, Warwick fabric, Sprout Design , Surface Art fabric, fabric bundles & oilcloth bundles, beach house fabric, outdoor cushion fabric & Indian cotton fabric,   children’s fabric, grossgrain ribbon, book bags, cushion covers… and more!

Mexican Oil Cloth fabric

As Susie says, “If you love to sew or simply love collecting fabric, we hope you will find what you are looking for here.”

I love their Mexican Oilcloth fabrics. They are designed & made in Mexico – Waterproof & wipe-clean 91% PVC & 9% cotton/polyester backing. They are sold in colourful bundles like this pic below, but are also available by the metre for tablecloths and larger projects.

ijustlovethatfabric also stocks some really cool stuff like Chalk Cloth/Black Board Vinyl – that can be used the same way as a black board, used as a tablecloth, easy to wipe-clean, ideal for children’s parties, games & travelling.

Susie also runs Workshops & Sewing Classes. Her “Sew Love Sewing Classes” are so popular you’ll need to be quick ~ this year’s classes are fully booked, but Sewing Classes will resume in February 2013

Oh goodness! It’s so very hard to choose! I was quite smitten by the hippo, then I saw the octopus, but my personal fave is the aardvark, how cool!
I left a comment on the blog post on the 21st November about the fabric, but it didn’t seem to have anything to do with this. I hope you see it!
Thanks for the chance to win such lovely goodies! xx

I would love the Baby Bunny Pattern or even the Twin Elf Pattern – I work with sick babies and at Christmas time we give those that are still in hospital a Christmas stocking with something little in them (generally something handmade) and it would be so great to be able to make them through the year and be able to give these babies a little bunny for a christmas present!
