RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
I sewed my squirrel with quilting cottons. You could use minky, cuddle and even fake fur especially for the tail to give your squirrel a fun fluffy look.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Main Fabric - 27cm x 110cm wide / 11 x 43½ inches wide
- Plain (body) fabric - 45cm x 55cm wide (18inches x 22inches wide)
- Patterned (tail) fabric - 35cm x 55cm wide (14inches x 22inches wide)
- Felt scrap for nose - 2½cm x 2½cm (1inch x 1inch)
- 15mm (5/8”) brown craft eyes
- Craft eyes - 12mm (or beads)

This has become one of my favourite animals I've made. Adding the chin to the head is probably the part you need to be most careful with but this is really because they are smallish parts and it is a tight angle, lots of pins and take it slow and it's fine.
