Finished Toy Size: 12”/30cm

*Please note: Charlie Cockatoo is one of my OLDEST patterns so he doesn't have a photo tutorial...

Charlie is the second “Aussie Mates” Funky Friend. The inspiration for Charlie cockatoo came from the cheeky cockatoos that visit the birdbath just outside my sewing room window. If I’ve forgotten to put out seed they actually call out for their breakfast –and they make quite a raucous noise! Charlie is really popular with children who seem fascinated by his wacky sulphur yellow crest. Making his body and wings from fleece gives him a cuddly feel.

I took all the OLD PATTERNS down while I'm working on creating photo tutorials for them. They take me ages to do BUT people keep asking me for the pattern so I am activating the listing for those people who feel they can make a button-jointed toy WITHOUT step-by-step photos! :)
