The finished Gracie GRANDDAUGHTER Bear toy is 25cm/10 inches tall. For scale, here is a photo of me with my Gracie GRANDDAUGHTER Bear!💗

 

AND here she is hanging out with some of the Funky Friends Factory Bears. Gracie GRANDDAUGHTER Bear is a fair bit smaller than Melody Memory Bear (who is a bit of a “CHUNKY” bear😱) BUT she will make a cute baby sister bear, especially for Ben the BEGINNER Bear!

How EASY is this teddy bear pattern?

Gracie GRANDDAUGHTER Bear is a non-jointed teddy bear. The testers LOVED that she only has one stuffing gap to sew closed. The clothes take a bit of extra time but the instructions and step by step photos guide you all the way through and they make Gracie look adorable  – according to our testers!!!!

 

What fabric can I use for Gracie GRANDDAUGHTER Bear?

A Bear in a DRESS~>
looks GREAT in ANY fabric!💃

Gracie GRANDDAUGHTER Bear can be sewn with most fabrics. I’ve used quilting cottons but you can also use clothing items to create a memory bear. Tonya S. recycled a baby receiving blanket to create her adorable baby keepsake Gracie GRANDDAUGHTER Bear! Tonya has used the large flat space on Gracie’s dress for embroidery too!

 

This Gracie GRANDDAUGHTER Bear  was sewn from the fabric from an Oscha baby sling! Eva Izdinska said that she presumed I’d be getting a lot of pink bears so she wanted to be different 😊

Joanne Giles of Little Legs Crafts sewed this pretty baby blue keepsake Gracie GRANDDAUGHTER Bear from her great niece’s baby clothes and a pretty matching cotton for her dress.🩵

And Yazmin Escobedo of Remember Me keepsakes by Yazmin sewed this adorable Gracie GRANDDAUGHTER Bear. She said she used I used her youngest daughter’s outgrown clothes from 16 years ago and had been waiting for the perfect pattern. 🥰

 

Cute in Quilting Cottons

This Gracie GRANDDAUGHTER Bear was sewn by Clodagh Midghall from Tula Pink Tabby Road (Déjà Vu Eek) fabric. If you look closely you can see the little grey mouse on the dress top!🐭

Zackery Haranzo sewed Gracie GRANDDAUGHTER Bear from a floral fabric and used a matching pink for her dress and head bow.

She’s fabulous in florals!

Kylie Downs of Voodoo Rabbit Fabric also sewed this sweet ‘bear coloured ‘ Gracie GRANDDAUGHTER Bear in a flowery dress.

 

This Gracie GRANDDAUGHTER Bear was sewn by Janet Radke. She usually sews for her grandkids but she sewed this sweet bear in a flowery dress for herself!

This Gracie GRANDDAUGHTER Bear was sewn by Paula Blevins from Shannon’s Cuddle fabric. The bear could look quite dark and dull BUT she has paired with with a pretty yellow floral for the dress and a fun bright yellow head bow!

Natashya Gibson used a pretty rose cuddletex fabric for the body, and a rose patterned cotton for the dress of this very sweet  Gracie GRANDDAUGHTER Bear that she sewed for her friend called Rose.
