Leah Malasky chose to sew Rascal the Racoon and used a fabric line that had some cute mushrooms on it, which she felt was perfect for a foraging critter. She has lots more super cute photos of Rascal on her Quilted Delights Blog.

I think it’s perfect
for Harmony!

Jennifer Thomas chose to sew Fleur the Famingo because she lives near the beach and thought he would fit well with my tropical beachy decor, plus she loves pink! She used a variety of pink fabrics from Meadow Hues, a signature collection for Claudia Porter, designed by Jerry Khiev for Island Batik (Lumin Fabrics), plus some Island Batik solid black.
You can see lots more cute pics of her sewing Fleur Flamingo on her Curlicue blog.

Connie Kresin says she’s scared to death of snakes but it didn’t stop her sewing a Silly Scrap Snake for the Challenge! Connie used all of the browns from her Rustic Riches collection for a natural looking snake. You can see her gorgeous batik snake in the garden and posing with her pup on her Freemotion by the River blog.

Gail Sheppard selected Sue. I learnt an interesting fact from Gail Shepherd‘s blog Quilting Gail ~> squirrels are famous in the quilting world – all the distractions of new projects are called ‘squirrels’! Gail obviously didn’t get distracted because she sewed TWO squirrels! Here you can see Gail’s gorgeous batik squirrels on a road trip
And back home…
with a VERY happy friend!
