Heather Hippo INSTANT DOWNLOAD Sewing Pattern PDF

Finished Toy Size: 13"/33cm (from snout to tail!)

This is the very first Funky Friends Factory pattern that was designed using NON-STRETCH fabrics... a real challenge for me - especially with such a 'buxom' creature! She would like everyone to know that any lines you may see are NOT fat rolls - they are puckers in her seams... Well, who am I to burst her bubble! I think she's really cute and cuddlesome just as she is!

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:

Heather can be made from non-stretch fabrics eg. cotton drill, cottons, corduroy and quilting fabrics, as well as fleece and similar stretchy fabric. (I have included instructions on how to stitch cute little toes if she is made of fleece and the instructions for the felt flower are also included).

They're as much fun to make as they are to give. Review by Rachelle

My grandchildren received their Christmas hippos early as their mom didn't read the enclosed letter! The kids are in love and they have been sleeping with their hippos every night since they arrived. Thank you so much for your lovely creative creatures. They're as much fun to make as they are to give.

I made a Harry Hippo for my grandson. Review by Nancy

My grandson loved Harry the Hippo that I gave him for Christmas! I inserted a small voice recorder in his belly that played “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas” - you should have seen his eyes! HAHA

Thanks, Nancy. (Posted on 12/31/2015)
