Feb 6, 2023 | Blog, Competitions & Giveaways

You’ve got until February 14th (2023) to post a Valentine’s Day theme toy and enter our Valentine’s contest! Full contest details are at the bottom of this page, but first…here are some of this week’s entries.

Check out these cute
Valentine’s Day
toys~>

A heart on the chest adds a Valentine’s Day touch to any toy. Joy Davies went with a red and white combo for this ‘heartfelt’ Fifi Fox.

Puppy Pete’s wide ears make a perfect space for embroidery, as you can see in this “Puppy Love” version of Puppy Pete sewn by Jonell Hart.

Jane MacKenzie used the Mix & Match Monsters pattern to make these quick Valentine’s Day gifts for her grandkids.

This adorable Patty Cow sewn by Jonell Hart is covered with…rainbow hearts!

Christine Storrs used a similar fabric on her Valentine’s Diggles Dragon. I love how it coordinates with the blue body.

Fluffy and fun is the order of the day in this Kiri Kiwi Bird toy made from pink faux fur by Rebecca Karstad.

For more fluffy fun (and a challenge), you can use a long pile fabric for the mane pieces in the Larry Lion pattern. Ajaire Parello also added false eyelashes to her toy.

This candy hearts fabric looks adorable on Larry Lion, as sewn by Jo Ann Carroll. Again, I personally  think it’s a bit more challenging to make the mane from the thicker long-pile fur but it really looks amazing!

Sandra Lawson sewed this Ellie Elephant and picked an adorable fabric combo of gingham and hearts

Click HERE to purchase the Elephant pattern.

Elly Stone added a jaunty heart ribbon to her Ben BEGINNER Bear, plus she put heart appliques on the footpads!
