Hey, it’s time to introduce Stu the Sea Turtle Pattern and announce the winners of the GUESS the next pattern competition – I think I have kept everyone in suspense for long enough! I have taken the extra time to ‘polish’ the pattern so he’d be extra cute,
…so I hope you think he was worth the wait! Without further ado, let me introduce you to
Stu the
S-E-A T-U-R-T-L-E !
Well, lots of you guessed right but I think I managed to keep a few of you in the dark, as Stu’s flippers looked rather dragon-like in purple!
Stu, is made from cotton quilting fabrics BUT he will also look great made in fleece and corduroy, for some lovely texture too. I wanted to make him a boy, as he is named after Stu, who is a fabulous Funky Friends Facebook fan, and I have to say, I am very pleased at how nicely he turned out in these bright, bold, boyish colours. He’ll make an awesome toy for boys, but I’m sure you can make up a really gorgeous, girly-pink turtle too!
