It’s time to haul out the Holly!ππ
This Christmas season one of the busiest Funky Friends has been Maximus Mouse. He’s been spreading good cheer in cute Christmas fabrics and tiny hats and scarves (see the free accessories patterns below!). This jolly blog post shows off some of the cute holiday mice that have been posted this year, along with bears, reindeer, snowmen, and more!
Very nice Christmas Mice!
I love this little Maximus Mouse perched in some evergreens. Almira.S. has posed Maximus with some holly instead of his felt cheese.

Sarah Rackham used my FREE Santa hat pattern to make a tiny topper for her Maximus Mouse. The little scarf is a fun extra touch! (You can find the link to the hat pattern in the TIP box below this feedback photo!)

The Maximus Mouse pattern comes with two pieces of felt food in his pattern (cheeseπ§ and a strawberryπ), and Joy Davies discovered that my free Ginger the Gingerbread man pattern fits perfectly in the Mouse’s little paws.

Laura Peters Cartoscelli also posed Maximus MouseΒ with little Ginger the Gingerbread Man.

Really cute Reindeer!
Santa can’t get around on his own, so let’s look at some of his fashionable reindeer helpers.Β Pat Ranger used teddy fur (also known as sherpa fabric in some places) on her Reggie Reindeer. I like the mix of fabric textures on this cheerful reindeer.

Pat Ranger also sewed this Reggie Reindeer, this time she used a light coloured fleece fabric. (I love to see how different the same toy looks in different fabrics!)

Maxine MacIntosh emailed me her version of Reggie Reindeer. She has also used teddy fur (called sherpa in some countries) and finished off with a dashing leopard print scarf.

This lovely duo of Reggie Reindeer (sewn in two different sizes) is made from the holiday sweater of a much missed loved one. These toys were sewn by Carol Jenkins.

Some SUPER cute Snowmen!
This years crop of Slush Snowmen came dressed to impress in holiday accessories. Kerry Hansen sewed this Slush in a cute textured cotton fabric and brilliant royal blue scarf.

Sandy Smith added a pink fleece scarf to her Slush Snowman and decorated Ginger the Gingerbread Man to match! πΒ

Magical Moose (Moosies???)
It’s been another bumper year for a Christmas favorite, the Christmas Moose!Β This merry Mickey Moose sewn by Laura Peters Cartoscelli has Christmas lights on his antlers, and you don’t get much more festive than that!

Here’s a delightful candy theme Mickey Moose sewn by Terri Wolff.

Darlene Tavernia made a memory moose from holiday clothing. I love the way she carefully placed a Santa on each antler and the tail of her Mickey Moose. Adorable!

Kip the Keepsake Dog Pattern is a perfect pattern for making holiday momentos. The single piece tummy on Kip is sized to fit a t-shirt logo. Sarah Yates used a holiday sweater design on the arms and tummy of this Kip.

Mitch the Monkey looks great in buffalo plaid, as sewn by Lindsey Mortimer. Mitch looks especially cute as a clothing keepsake, at Christmas or any time of year.

Beautiful Bears for Christmas!
Here is another delightful Ben the BEGINNER Bear sew by Sandra Fordham. She used the single piece tummy to show off a Christmas message, and also added holiday fabric to the paws and ears.

And Sandra has made another very special Ben the BEGINNER Bear for a Christmas present.

Jan Hoffman used a baby’s first Christmas outfit fabric for the body of the Ben the BEGINNER Bear. Ben is a perfect fit for a baby Christmas keepsake.
