I got a lovely email from Katy from<\/span> Janome-America<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, who told me that their creative educators used some of my<\/span> Funky Friends toy patterns<\/strong><\/span><\/a> to showcase their unique decorative stitches<\/strong> for the Janome dealer’s conference this month in the city of Atlanta. <\/span><\/p>\n

She was very excited to show me how they used the stitches so she sent me these photos to see. Take a look at how they used the Janome sewing machine’s decorative stitches to create lots of  cool texture effects<\/strong> on the fabric to make the toys look amazing!<\/span><\/p>\n

I love the details they added for the<\/span> Slowpoke Sloth Sloth Pattern<\/strong><\/span><\/a> – can you see the texture detail on her tummy? Look at those fuzzy eyebrows!<\/span><\/p>\n

And… for the<\/span> Monty Manatee Sewing Pattern<\/span><\/strong><\/a> they have added some decorative stitching down the sides of the manatees and also made a baby manatee toy – how cute it that?<\/span><\/p>\n

And look what they did with the<\/span> Mickey Moose sewing pattern<\/span><\/strong><\/a>! I just love the cute expression on the face of their Mickey Moose and look at the detailed stitches they’ve used to give him a quilted look!<\/span><\/p>\n

They have used the decorative stitches to add some fun texture detail to the mane of the<\/span> Larry Lion Pattern<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. If you  look closely you can see how they edged around his ‘paws’ too!<\/span><\/p>\n

\nNext up is the<\/span> Patty Cow sewing pattern<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. Look at the stitching around her hooves!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

And WOW – they have used the<\/span> Randy Rhino sewing pattern<\/span><\/strong><\/a> to show off this clever “crinkly effect” created with the decorative stitches.<\/span><\/p>\n

And LAST but not LEAST…<\/span><\/h2>\n

They have used the<\/span> Wodger Wombat sewing pattern<\/span><\/strong><\/a> to show off these swirly decorative stitches and added a cute collar!<\/span><\/p>\n

WOW! I’m loving all these cool stitching effects! \ud83d\ude0e <\/strong><\/span><\/center>I haven’t used any of the decorative stitches on my sewing machine and I’m going to definitely give some of them a go now!<\/span><\/p>\n
