OMG, it’s ACTUALLY happening… we are moving house!!!<\/span> \ud83d\ude40<\/p>\n

It’s the weirdest thing to walk around our home and hear my voice echo because of the empty rooms. We’ve been in this house for 15 years so it’s been a BIG part of the Funky Friends story.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many of the early Funky Friends soft toy patterns were designed in my tiny sewing room which was in one of our smallest rooms…<\/p>\n

which I soon outgrew!<\/strong><\/p>\n

So we converted our garage into an amazing studio for me…<\/p>\n

LOOK how pleased I was with my renovating skills!!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The garden has been awesome for photographing my toys too!<\/p>\n

Even the chickens enjoyed the photo shoots!<\/strong>

The wildlife here has been a huge inspiration for the Funky Friends soft toy patterns too…<\/p>\n

Charlie Cockatoo was based on this cheeky cockatoo that used to squawk outside my sewing room window for me to put out some bird seed for him!<\/p>\n

I’ll be sad to leave this behind for sure!!!<\/p>\n

BUT I wonder what new inspiration our move will bring?<\/h2>\n
