\nI thought I\u2019d go on Friday afternoon as it would be quieter than the weekend, and I managed to elbow my way in to get my grubby paws on all the lovely crafty goodies!<\/p>\n
There was lots to see and I was sorely tempted by the gorgeous beading stands, but my fabric addiction took hold, and I came home with more fat quarters than I know what to do with, right now, but just HAD to HAVE!<\/p>\n
I saw it on the TV news, but I was still blown away by the sheer size of the world\u2019s largest hexagon quilt.<\/p>\n

\nI know I would never be able to make a normal bed-size quilt in MY lifetime so it is incredible what this quilting group from Gatton has done. Once the quilt has been judged for the Guinness book of records it will be divided up and distributed to nursing homes and aged care facilities \u2013 what a wonderful caring idea!
\nI had so much fun, I kind of got carried away and next thing I found myself driving (crawling?) home in the rush hour traffic. At least I had my tissue box\u2026. But I\u2019ll go a lot earlier next time!<\/p>\n
