Sew around the edge of each wing using a 5mm\/\u00bcinch seam allowance to create a \u2018rim\u2019 around the outsides and stitch across the wings at the seam between the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>WING TIP PIECES<\/strong><\/span> and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>WING PIECES<\/strong><\/span>. This is important because it makes the seam nice and firm. I like to use a thread to match the body fabric.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote style=\"padding: 0px 10px; margin: 30px 10px; border: solid 2px #b41e8e; color: #000000; text-align: left;\">\n<h1 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">STEP 9<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Pin and sew the eagle\u2019s body together down the back, from C on the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>HEAD PIECES<\/strong><\/span> \u2013 E on the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>BODY PIECES<\/strong><\/span>. Use a wooden chopstick to turn the seams nicely. Leave a gap open on the GUSSET PIECES for turning and stuffing.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote style=\"padding: 0px 10px; margin: 30px 10px; border: solid 2px #b41e8e; color: #000000; text-align: left;\">\n<h1 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">STEP 25<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Fold the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>BODY PIECES<\/strong><\/span> at M so you can pin the body closed at the tail.
