Turn them right sides out.\u00a0 Fold the ears in half. <strong>(I have added the red dashed lines to show you where to fold the pieces.)<\/strong> Sew the straight edges of the ear together, as shown on the pattern piece. I find this makes it easier when you sew the mane in place. (I don&#8217;t always do this, but you can sew a single stitched line instead of a zig zag for cotton fabrics.)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote style=\"padding: 10px 10px; margin: 30px 0px; border: solid 2px #b41e8e; color: #000000; text-align: left;\">\n<h1 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">STEP 7 <\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Pin the inside edges of the <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">MANE PIECES<\/span><\/strong> to the face. Start at the top of the <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">FOREHEAD PIECE<\/span><\/strong> and pin &#8216;down&#8217; towards the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>CHIN PIECE<\/strong><\/span> on each side &#8211; <strong>there should be gap under the chin!<\/strong> Put the head aside to make the body. If you look carefully at my Larry Lion in the photo below you will see the gap! (The size of the gap will depend on the fabric you are sewing with &#8211; but don&#8217;t try to S-T-R-E-T-C-H the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>MANE PIECE<\/strong><\/span> to fit.
