Every request makes me feel terrible because <strong>I cannot help everyone I would like to.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2745 aligncenter\" title=\"teddy bear sewing pattern for charity\" src=\"https:\/\/manage.funkyfriendsfactory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/BILLION-BEARS-CHARITY-TEDDYs.jpg\" alt=\"teddy bear sewing pattern for charity\" width=\"473\" height=\"408\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Lots of people think I am a large company <strong>but it is just me working from home<\/strong>, and they don\u2019t realise that I cannot donate loads of cash or products because I am just an individual trying to earn a living\u00a0 myself from my business!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2740\" title=\"Honey=teddy-web-right\" src=\"https:\/\/manage.funkyfriendsfactory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/Honeyteddy-web-right.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Having said all that, I realised that there is a genuine need for something quick and simple (and cute!) to make for fund-raising charities&#8230;\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">so I decided to put on my thinking cap on to see what I could do to help!\u00a0 : )<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">When I set up my business, I was advised to have my Funky Friends Factory patterns protected by international copyright, which has been done to protect against my designs being mass-produced&#8230; so I needed to have an official means of using <strong>my subscriber&#8217;s FREE Teddy Pattern<\/strong> for charity so that people can make and sell as many Teddies as we can physically make!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">With this in mind, I set up the <strong>Funky Friends Factory \u2018Billion Bears\u2019 Charity Drive<\/strong> as an official means of \u201cgiving something back\u201d for all the joy I have got out of my Funky Friends Factory.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Let&#8217;s explain<br \/>\nhow the Funky Friends Factory<br \/>\n\u2018Billion Bears\u2019 Charity Drive works&#8230;<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">(As always, there have to be some do\u2019s and don\u2019ts.)<\/span><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>What CAN be done with the Honey Teddy Bear Pattern:<\/strong><\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Anyone who receives the Honey Teddy Pattern as my thank-you gift for signing up for my newsletter, or who has purchased the pattern, may use their pattern to make as many Honey Bears as they can for any official charity of their choice.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Please can you\u00a0 let me know how many bears you are contributing to our \u2018Billion Bears\u2019 Charity Drive. I just finished my second pattern Honey the bear. The steps were so easy to follow and she was a lot of fun to make. I have taken her into to school and my children will be naming her. I work with special needs children and she is our signal that we will be learning about and using colours.
