If you love soft toys and would like to make your own at home.....this site is for you! Most of the funky friends can be made in an uninterrupted day and the patterns and instructions are simple enough even for beginners.

All the Funky Friends Soft Toy Patterns are simple, fun, easy to make and are fantastic for gifts either made up as the completed toy or as a Kit for a crafty friend who loves to make things themselves.

Now... back to the Funky Friends Soft Toys! You can make them with fleece but any stretchy material should do. I love using fleece because it feels so soft and cuddly, it stretches to give the animals such cute character and best of all it’s easy to sew. I have heard that the latest ‘hip-and-happening’ material to use for soft toys is chenille for a warm and cosy feel but I have had people make them successfully with materials I would never dream of using like non-stretch denim. BUT feel free to experiment to your hearts content...
