Prices / Currency:

Payment Options:

Credit Card through PayPal's secure payment gateway.
PayPal account.

Australian customers have Additional Payment Options:

Australia Post Money Order made out to PAULINE MCARTHUR.
Cheque made out to PAULINE MCARTHUR.
Mail order.
Direct deposit into Australian bank account.

Postage Policy:

Postage is calculated by a software program linked to the Australian Postal System. We trust that it is an accurate system but we also make sure that no discrepancies occur.

Packing costs?

This system does NOT include the cost of PACKAGING so I have decided that, if this is not excessive relative to the cost of the items purchased, I can cover this cost – please bear in mind that envelopes, tape and bubble wrap all cost money! If the postage you have paid is a little more than the actual postage, if it is appropriate, I will consider it a small contribution towards the PACKAGING costs, but if the extra postage you have paid is excessive, I will always refund it!
If the PACKAGING is a lot more than expected, you will be contacted by email with an actual PACKAGING cost and will be asked if you would like to go ahead with your order BEFORE we proceed with shipment.

Extra Postage required?

If the actual postage cost is more than the postage calculated on this site, and if there is only a small difference, I will bear the cost of the extra postage.
If, in the case of larger parcels, the difference is large, you will be contacted by email with an actual postage cost and will be asked if you would like to go ahead with your order BEFORE we proceed with shipment.
If the actual postage cost is considerably less than the postage calculated on this site, the extra postage you have paid will be refunded.

Insurance Costs?

You must choose whether you would like to insure your parcel. Funky Friends Factory cannot be held accountable if an uninsured parcel gets lost in the post. Please contact us for any postal queries or Insurance quotes.

Time Frames

You will be kept informed about your shipment by email. If you haven’t received confirmation of your order within 3 days, you may have a SPAM filter or JUNK email block preventing you from receiving emails from the Funky Friends Factory address. So if you have heard from us in a few days - PLEASE contact us again so that we can give you our email address to add to your 'safe list' so that we can reply to your emails and keep you up to date regarding your order.

Returns Policy:

The Funky Friends Factory patterns are prepared with great attention to detail. The patterns are lazer printed on good quality paper and each contains a genuine colour photograph and clear, simple instuctions. We take great care to make sure that you are very happy with your pattern purchase. Each kit is lovingly prepared, however, in the unlikely event that a kit may have been supplied with faulty materials, we would be more than happy to replace these. So far, in the 9 years we have been distributing our patterns and kits, we have had no returns. We haven't had any unhappy customers and we certainly plan to do our best to keep it that way!

The Funky Friends patterns, concepts and logo are protected by international copyright protection:

The Funky Friends Factory patterns are intended for use by the individual person purchasing the pattern, and cannot be used for mass-production in any form.

It is acceptable to make these toys yourself for personal use and gifts or to sell in limited numbers, IF the toy is labelled or tagged ‘Made from a www.funkyfriendsfactory.com pattern’. It is unacceptable to mass-produce the toys or to reproduce the patterns. I have faith that you will respect the long hours and creative energy that have gone into producing the Funky Friends Factory patterns.

Can you make the toys to sell?

If you want to sell the toys to make some money for yourself, I am happy for you to do this if you make them yourself, and in limited numbers.I believe that, whether you sew them by hand or sewing machine, you'd hardly be able to call this mass-producing the toys! So you have my full permission to make the toys yourself, and sell them in limited numbers. All I would ask is that the toy is labelled or tagged ‘Made from a www.funkyfriendsfactory.com pattern’. I think it would be a win-win situation for both of us! - As a 'one-woman, home-based craft business' it would really help me if you could help 'spread the word' about my pattern website in this way! Thank you, in advance!

Can you sell the toys to raise money for CHARITY?

If you want to sell a few toys for a charity, once again, I feel that, whether you sew them by hand or sewing machine, you'd hardly be able to call this mass-producing the toys! So it is perfectly acceptable to make or sell the toys in limited numbers for this purpose. Once again, all I would ask is that the toy is labelled or tagged ‘Made from a www.funkyfriendsfactory.com pattern’.
